OSI licenses required
Pretrained models, weights, datasets, final components, and final backbones must use recognized OSI-approved licenses such as Apache-2.0, MIT, BSD, or GPL. Custom/source-available licenses are not accepted.
Official checkpoints
An official checkpoint is compliant when distributed by an OSI-licensed project or its maintainers and it has no separate restrictive or non-commercial license.
DINOv3 final backbone
A submitted detector may not use DINOv3 as its final backbone.
DINOv3 offline teacher
Permitted only for an OSI-compliant final student, with no direct DINOv3 parameters in final weights, and with the full distillation/training pipeline open-sourced.
PML 1.0
RF-DETR XL and 2XL detection models using PML 1.0 are excluded from the competition track.
Custom / non-OSI pretrained artifacts
Any pretrained model governed by a custom or non-OSI license is not permitted for the competition submission.

- final student architecture/backbone is OSI-compliant
- no direct proprietary DINOv3 parameters enter final student weights
